FAQ

In light of the most recent guidelines issued by the CDC that relax masking recommendations for communities with medium and low covid community levels, the staff revisited the church's policy on masking. Haywood County has moved from high (red) to medium (yellow) on the CDC's Covid-19 Community Level Scale. Therefore, in accordance with the new guidelines, we have chosen to change our masking policy from mandatory to OPTIONAL at church functions. Staff and volunteers working with unvaccinated communities will still be required to wear masks. Small groups and programs that feel it necessary to continue masking are able to do so. If numbers in Haywood County go up and we return to high (red) level, masks will be required again in the building.

Currently, we offer 3 services. Masks are required for all in-person services while inside. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month.

Wear whatever you would like! Typically our Awakening Service is fairly casual while our Traditional Service may be a little more dressy. But, we'd rather you come in something comfortable than to not come at all!

Parking is available in our large parking lot, the library parking lot (Sundays only), and the upper parking lot of the Post Office (please leave the lower lot for those needed to check their PO Boxes on the weekend). Handicap parking is available along Academy Street and in the Preschool parking lot (Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights only).

We love kids in services. We're here to make a joyful (and sometimes rowdy) noise unto the Lord! But, we also know sometimes they would much rather be somewhere else. During services, childcare is available for Infants - 3yrs. Our newborn nursery is located towards the Gym, the young children's area is located in the preschool area (near the elevator).
