About Us
In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Helene, it became apparent that there was a gap between the needs of the community and the resources that were available. Rebuild Haywood was created to bridge this gap. In the beginning, we were organizing teams of volunteers to mitigate flood damage, distribute essential supplies such as food and water, keep the community informed, and help individuals and families recover whatever was salvageable. As the needs of the community have shifted, Rebuild Haywood has adjusted course to continue to effectively address these needs. The team has grown to include a licensed general contractor, construction team, a certified disaster case manager, and case management team. To learn more about our process, click here.
If you are needing assistance please contact us at 828-399-1663 to speak with a case manager or complete our Intake Form and a member of our team will contact you.
